內容簡介（中文）

水傍石上，水鳥兩隻，一微露背，一見全體，足趾間有蹼相繫，當係野鴨之屬。其上重疊作茶花、竹、石、梅、雀、花卉俱用雙鈎，雖粗細不同，而筆力一皆挺秀，用色傅粉，亦極沉著。

內容簡介（英文）

A jagged rock looms over a river bank which sport two waterfowl. One bird preens its feathers while the other descends into the water. Although the traditional title of the mentions doves, the webbed feet of the birds depicted here indicates that they are probably a species of wild duck.

Above the birds are layers of camellia, bamboo, rocks and plum blossoms as well as a sparrow. The blossoms have all been defined using outlines, which, despite their difference in terms of coarseness, are elegant and prominent. The use of mineral colors and white is also extremely deft.
